Today school started at 8.30. B class had Biology and we had an alternate teacher because Biology's teacher is somewhere else. Then we had snack and after it we had Physics. We were taught some new things. After Physics we had English and we were preparing for exam. We’re going to take it next week at Wednesday. After that we had Slovene and we were talking about words in our language. Then came the last period, which was Class hour. We were deciding about Christmas dance because 9th grade is preparing it and we were talking about High schools. After that we went to lunch or home. J.P., class 9b

School started at 7.40 today. We had foreign languages and we had learnt a lot of different things. Then we had Math. Next week we will have an exam and because of that, we were repeating things for the test. After Math we had English. We were talking about Slovenia. We’re learning about our country at Geography too. We were talking and repeating things about Slovenia and I think we had all realized, how happy we can be with our country. We also determined the dates for videotelling. In videotelling we have to describe a video by a slovenian singer. I hope we will do well. After English we had P.E. We were playing volleyball, which was a great fun. Then, all sweaty, we had Physics. It was hard. And, for the last period, only the 2nd group had Slovene. We were listening to Wall Newspaper and talking about the time after reformation. Jerneja, 9.b

Today in school was pretty cool, and it all began from the fact that the first class was English, because I prepared well. I did a pretty good poster. Our beloved teacher of English was happy and smiling as always. The lesson threw me into an even better humor. The lesson went smoothly, even though it was not so terrible. In the next lesson was quite enlightening because I realized that talking about a lesson can be something a teacher evaluates and find that cool. After the ring, it's time for Math. Math was interesting even though I did not do the homework. Well, in any case, Math passed quickly. Then there were two Art lessons, where we drew something. In my opinion it was cool. Later I went to eat lunch and I went home. IT WAS A PLEASANT DAY AT SCHOOL.

Today 10 girls from 9th class started new weekend at early 7.40. We got our exams back and we were really happy. Some girl even lost only a half of point. The whole first hour, we were checking our mistakes and teacher even checked 3 girls' knowledge. Then, the secound hour we were learning things that we will need in high school. After this, we joined other schoolmates for our breakfast. Then two groups had English and one Slovene. We had Slovene and we were doing some exercises, because we will write a test on 28th of May. Then we were all writing Math test, but just that we could check if we are doing all things right. After Math, our group had English. We were doing a lot of exercises in workbook. We also got some papers, that we will need in high school. Then we had Music. All teh boys had their presentations and they were all great. After that, we had Pshics (Fiziko). We got our exams back and some weren't happy about their garade. Today's day was happy and sad. But you know what they say: After the rain, there's always sun. Lea, 9.a

First on today's timetable at 7.40 was German. We were talking about different jobs. What do some people do at work, where do they work and so on. We had German for two full hours. Then we had a very good breakfast and got ready for next subject - Slovene. We were doing some exercises in workbook and wrote something in our notebook about our best poet France Preseren and our anthem Zdravljica. Next we had Math. We were all very nervous, because of the test. I think we will be all susscesful, because we were doing great in class. Then we had English and we were doing exercises and started new unit called Unit 3. After this we had Music and we had to sing for a grade. I realised that some of my schoolmates are really good singers. Last subject this day was Physics. We were learning about electricity and it was really fun. Lea, 9.a

Today was also a normal day we didn't have to wake up early, because we started class at 9:15 again but some of us started at 8:30 because we had to work on something on computers with Mr. Jenko. We have class with Mr. Jenko and we make internet pages, presentations about Slovenia and many other things. After that we had our first meal today we had Hamburgers with ice tea. After our first meal we had Slovene or English class and at Slovene class we were talking about travelogue we were reading some things in our work books. The hour went pass quick. After Slovene class we had Maths and there we are still talking about Mathematical prismas, we are talking about how to calculate volume of prisma, surface of prisma, perimeter and many other things. After Math class we had English or Slovene class I had English class and there we were talking about passive and active voice the teacher gave us some exercises and we had to work alone. The teacher also told us that she is going to ask us questions for grade next week. The hour went quickly. After English we had Physic and there we were talking about blocks/ pulleys and also about mass of blocks. And then we had Chemistry class and at Chemistry we had to write a mini test it was about acidity and Chemistry salds. And that was the end of the day. Tjaša :)

So today was a normal for many of the students but some of them had to come in school at 7:40 because they had German class. I don't know what they were talking about but probably about German language. And others had to come in school at 9:15 when we had our first meal which was cocoa with bread, and Nutella on it. I love Nuttela and I am sure many of my classmates do too. After that we had Slovene or English class. I had Slovene and we were talking about paths and how to describe them. And actually it was really funny because many of us had problems with reading the text even the teacher was laughing about our problems. After Slovene class we had Math class where we are still talking about geometric bodies and mathematic prismas. After Math class we had English or Slovene class. Our teacher was gone for the first 15 minutes, because she was talking to someone. And the principal of school was in the classroom for us. And then when teacher came back Anamarija had a presentation about Nuts and Walnuts it was really interesting she presuaded me to eat them. After English class we had History clasa where we were tapking about athomic bombs in second world war in Japan and China. After that we had Art class where we started to draw some pictures of biuldings. And that was the end of the day. Tjasa

And again this was a normal day we had to wake up at 7:30 am, because we started school at 8:30am. First we had Slovene class and there we were talking about different periods of Slovenian language. At the class we were talking about Enlightenment period. And after Slovene class we had our first meal we had tangerines and cooked rice. After Slovene class we had free period, but me and my friend didn't have free time because we were making a dance for a celebration on the 7th of February. After ''free period'' we had Physic and the teacher was asking questions for grade again. Today Duško, Andraž and Nik got graded. After Physic we had Math class and there we were talking about geometric bodies again. And that was the end of the day for most of my schoolmates, but not for me and Žana we had to stay untill 2 o'clock. We had to stay again because of the celebration that is on 7th of February. Tuesday 28th January

Today was a normal day we had to wake up at 8o'clock. We had to be at school at 9:15. First we had our first meal and for breakfast we had sandwiches with 2 pieces of salami and some orange juice. We started at 9:35 with English and Slovene class. At English I was writing a phrasal verb on the blackboard and I was really confused. The others were doing something in their books. After English we had Maths there we were doing something with geometric bodies. We also got homework and we had to do few exercises in our books. After Maths class we had Slovene and English class. At Slovene we were talking about Slava vojvodine Kranjske. And after that we were doing something in our workbooks. And at the end we had Physics where we were doing some exercises from our workbooks and correction of the test. The teacher was also giving questions for grade some of the schoolmates. Me and few of my friends had mr. Lipavšek. We were working on some things for 7th January. And that was the end of a really long day. Vesna, 9.b

Hi,today was a great day ,even if it was Monday. I went to school at 8 o'clock p.m. We started with English. We were talking about food. It was funny! After English we had Maths. We were writting a mini test. It was easy and I got the best mark! After Maths class we had Slovene. We were talking about baroque and culture at that time. The next subject was History and after History Chemistry. Today was realy good day and lunch in school was not bad too. I just love spaghetti with meat sauce! :) Vesna, 9.b

On this day we also had to wake up early, because we also had school at 7:40. First we had Music class. Where we were talking about the movie about Phantom of the Opera. It was actually a great movie and it was a musical. After Music class we had PE where we had to practice our gymnastic routine again. And on two of the girls wanted to perform the routine for grade and they were both great and they got an A. After PE we had English and Slovene class. Two groups had English and on had Slovene. We were checking our homework from last month. After English we had Geography where the teacher was asking us questions for grade again. I got an unfair 4. Others got better grades but they knew same things as me so that is why it was unfair. After Geography we had Chemistry where we were talking about Chemistry salts. We also did something in our work book. Later after Chemistry we had Biology where my schoolmate got 3 questions for grade. He got the best grade. But the rest of us were all scared because that day we wrote a repeat test for Physics the teacher was also mad at us because we were very loud. And after Biology we also had Physics and Cooking class. That was the end if the day. Vesna, 8.b

It was Friday, last day at school this week. First hour on our timetable was Music. We were singing and talking about movie Phantom of the opera. It was very interesting. After breakfast we had English. We were checking our homework. We were also talking about food and dialog in restaurant. Then we had Geography. We were all very nervous because teacher was asking us for grades but we didn't know that she will. Other students were doing an exercise about Slovenian mountains. The last hour on our timetable was Physics. We were writing a test again. We were very nervous and when the teacher came into the class we started writing. It was very difficult, but I hope we will get great grades. Eva, 9.b

Thursday 23rd January

I am going to talk about Thursday, the twenty third of January. It was a normal day we had to wake up early because we started class at 7:40. We were all a little scared, because on this day Geography teacher was asking us questions for grade. When we came in school we first had Geography. Because she was asking us questions the hour went quickly and the fear went away. But some schoolmates were sad, because of the bad grade. After Geography we had Biology and there we were talking about blood types and mutant people. After Biology we had Maths where some of the students wrote a test it was a repeat test. Not all of the groups wrote it only 2 groups. It wasn't as difficult as the first one. After Maths we had History. There we were talking about second world war, we talked about Jews. It is really sad because all of those bad things happened to them. And then we had Slovene where my schoolmate had a presentation of school paper. And then at the end we had PE there we had to practice our routine of gymnastic and some girls were pretty good. And that was the end of the day. Vesna, 8.b

Today most of students started lesson very late at 9:35 am. First hour on our timetable was English. We were doing some exercises in book. We were making exercises about food and meals through the day. We were doing this alone or in pairs. We also compared meals between Britain and Slovene. It was very interesting. We learned a lot of different things about Britain. We also read a menu with many different meals in it. It was a very interesting lesson and we had a great time. After English we had Slovene. We were talking about the book that we read last week. We were all very nervous, because teacher was asking us this for grades. At 1 pm we had a competition for Chemistry. We wrote a test. There were just a few of us in the class. The test was very long and difficult. I hope that we will achieve good results. Eva, 9.b

This Friday we had a coking class. There were just a few of us, so we made groups of 3. We made 3 different meals. We made pizza, smoothie and some steaks. Me and my friends were making pizza. At first we weren’t good at making pizza, but then our teacher helped us. We always prepare food with a help of recipes, but on Friday we made it by ourselves. At the beginning we made dough for pizza. Then we put on it some cheese, salami and ketchup. We put pizza in the oven and we had to wait about 30 minutes. Then we ate it and it was very delicious. I also learned how to make smoothie. At first we cupped bananas and we added some yoghurt.We put all those things together, we had to mix it well and we also added sugar. And the other group was made steaks. They were also very delicious, but I don’ know how to make it. We couldn’t eat everything, so boys did it. My group was in line to cleaned up all, so we stayed a little longer than others, because we had to wash the dishes and dry the table. We had a lot of fun at coking lessons. On Thursday we had a cultural day at school. We stayed in school. At first we had two hours of Geography Then we went into the music classroom. We waited for 10 minutes and then there were 4 girls at the door they were wearing royal clothes. We didn’t know who they are. Our teacher said that they are students of music academy. At first they sang some songs and then they were playing flutes, xylophones and triangles. They were amazing. We all loved their voices. Then they had to go and we stayed alone in class. The teacher told us that we will see movie Phantom of the opera. Almost nobody knew this movie. But it was very good. They were singing all the time and a movie took almost 2 hours and a half. Phantom of the Opera is a 2004 British film and it’s about a Phantom who always wears a mask, because his half face is very ugly. A story is very intense and interesting. Hello, I am writing a blog for 17th January. It was Friday. Of course we were all happy because it was Friday and then the weekend when we relax. But we were all nervous because we were writing a test for Geography. We started school at 7:40 so we had to wake up early. As I said in many blogs I realy don't like getting up early. At first we had Music class where some of the students wrote a test. It was a repeat test, because some of the students wrote first test badly and they wanted to correct the grade. And others had to write down some musicians of 20th century and we had to describe them. There were long descriptions in our books but we had to short them and discribe them in our note books. After Music class we had PE at PE we had to do a show which includes gymnastic moves like gymnastic wheel. All the girls like gymnastic. After PE my group had Slovene. Where we were working on home reading. On this day all of us finished it. We had to introduce some questions to the whole class and the teacher. After we introduced them students asked us questions about the book. After Slovene we had Geography and we were all very scared. The test was including four questions about rocks like lime. After Geography we had Chemistry where we are talking about acids and chemistry bases. The teacher gave us some work in work books, because she had to work on something with our classmates that are going to compete in Chemistry. After Chemistry we had Biology. And at Biology we were talking about mutants bodies and people. It is realy interesting, I didn't know that mutant child can grow in your body because of radiation that was given to your body. And that was end of the day for some students. But for some girls it wasn't because we had Cooking class. Where we were baking a pizza, frying poultry and we were doing a smothie with bananas. We did great. I liked all the dishes. Especially that with bananas which was realy realy good! So that was the end of the day. Tjasa

It was Friday. Last day in school this week. We were all very happy that day. First hour on our timetable was Music. We were all very tired and sleepy. The teacher came into the class five minutes after ringing.We were all sitting on our chairs. Some of my friends didn't write the test yet so they decided to write it next week. Than we were listening to music and we were writing in our notebooks about composers of the 20th century. It was a fun hour. Than we had Sport. We went into the gym. We had gymnastics. We were in pairs and we were making an exercise for grade.It was very interesting and funny. When we came out of the gym there was a music in school. We have music every friday. Some of my friends were singing very loudly. After breakfast we had English. We were making some exercises and a teacher was also asking a glossary. This day passed very quickly. Eva, 9.class

This is the second week in school from our holidays. I think it is very tense in our class. We have written a lot of tests and we will write them a lot in next weeks. English lesson today: today we were talking about second conditional, we also made some exercises, but before that our teacher was asking us some words for a grade. We need to write these words every week. Some of us got great grades but some of my friends didn't. We also wrote a discription of my healthy life. It was very interesting lesson and we didn't get a lot of homework. Physics: at that lesson we were also very nervous, because we got our tests back. After that we corrected them. We also got a lot of homework. I think we got a lot of grades today and it was a great day. Eva, 9. class

I am going to talk about school day of 9th grade A class. We started at 8.35. First, some of us had Slovene and some of us had English. I first had Slovene and we were talking about types of texts. From 9.35 to 10.20 I had a free lesson. Then we had History. We were talking about World war I. After History we had Maths and we were doing some exercises because we will write an exam next week. Then we had P.E. and we were doing gymnastics. After P.E. we went to Chemistry. We were doing some exercises because we will write a “mini test” on Friday. On Friday at 2 pm we had cooking. This is something that we chose at the start of the year. And some of the girls decided to go cooking. Almost every girl from the class went there. At the cooking class we have the same teacher as for Chemistry. It is always very interesting and every week we cook something else. At the start we make groups of 3. Every group makes different meal. Usually 3. On Friday we made muffins, bread dumplings and flancati. My group was making muffins and I liked them very much. If you want to make them and suprics your family here is a recipe: 2 eggs 220 g sugar 110 g all-purpose flour 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 160 ml milk 150 g butter 120 g semisweet chocolate chips 1. Preheat the oven to 160C seive the bowl ingredients into the bowl. 2. Mix the egg,milk, oil and sugar together in the jug. 3. Pour the egg mixture into the bowl you can add chocolate chips now to make double chocolate muffinsand mix until combined but still lumpy. 4. Spoon mixture into cake cases and put the tray in the oven at 160C for 20 until set and cracked at the top if not quite set put back in for a further 10 mins. 5. Whilst cooking make up some icing by adding the water to the the icing sugar slowly and bit by bit until the consistency of golden syrup add more icing sugar or water if needed. 6. When muffins are done we leave them to stand for 5 mins then cover in icing and eat. We ate everything and it was great. After we finished eating and cooking we had to clean up the place. With our full tummies we went home.

Hello, I am writing a blog for the ninth of January. This day we didn't have English lesson so I made a description of the day (Thursday). On this day we wrote a test for History. We were all really scared and we were all studying like crazy. On this day we had to wake up early because we began at 7:40. I don't like waking up early at all. When we came in school we first had Geography. We were all scared that she is going to ask us questions for score but luckily she didn't. We were studying about periods of geological history, the periods all have weird names. After geography we should have biology, but the teacher was missing so we had History and we were writing something about second world war. I like learning about wars it's interesting because I found out a lot of new stuff about history of the world. Last 15 minutes we could ask teacher questions about history test. After History we had Maths where the teacher gave us some exercises and we were working on that. We were also talking about scope and surface area of triangle. We were all really nervous about history. And then there was History a minute before the bell rang the teacher gave us tests and we all started to write down the answers. I just hope I'm getting a good grade. My Slovenian group had free period after History I was mad about it because we didn't have it before History we could study. After free period we had PE. I like PE I can relax and free my mind. That was the end of my day of school. Tjaša

Today we had English first on our timetable. We were doing some exercises in book. Today's theme was Food. First we translated some words to Slovene and then we listened to interview about Healty Lifestyle. Than we did a quiz and we could see how healthy our life is. I think we all live healthy life, because we live in small city that has lots of places to work out in nature. And we don't have a lot fast food in Medvode. Than we had Slovene and we were checking our exams. After Slovene, we had History and than Math. Than we had PE and we were doing some gymnastics. It was very funny. And last we had Chemistry. When the teacher came into the class, we first said hey to the teacher, then we sat down. Teacher said that today's topic will be FOOD. We opened a book on page 59, where we listened to the task FOOD FOR LIFE. Then we went on page where we were using diagram about food, what is healty to eat and what isn't. And so we made a couple of exercises,... We learned a few new words. Then we Slowly began to clean up notebooks, and finally the bell rang, we said goodbye to the teacher and then we went out of class. Jaka Peklaj 9.a

Firs we drove to Bled at 8.40am. The teachers that were with us were mr. Jenko, mr. Turk, mr. Flajnik, mrs. Trpin, mrs. Magdalenc and mrs. Pintar. When we arrived to Bled we went to wardrobe and put our ice-skates on. On the ice rink there were students from another school. We skated till 11.40. then we put on our shoes and went to the bus. We came to the school at 12.40 and went to lunch. That was a wonderful day. Tara 9.a

Early in the morning on the 24th of December me and some of my friends had a meeting in one of Maths rooms. This was absolutely very special day. It was not just our last day of school for this year; we were also preparing a special surprise for every student at school. We invited Santa Claus to school and he promised us, that he will come. When he came we took all the presents, that he brought with him and we went from class to class and we gave a chocolate to all children who were nice and friendly all year. Those were mostly all. And all students were also very happy and exited about the present. In every classroom we also sang a Christmas song, like Santa Claus is coming to town or Rudolf, the red nose rain deer. In the end we went to a visit to our youngest students in 1st grade. We called Santa together, but we had to call him at least twice, because he cant hear as good as in old times, he is old you know. But after a few minutes he came and he talked to children and gave them gifts. This was all and we sad goodbye to Santa for this year. I hope he also will visit us next year, I am sure he will, we just have to be enough good.  Anamarija 9th class
