I am going to talk about school day of 9th grade A class. We started at 9:15. First, some of us had Slovene and some of us had English. I first had Slovene and we wrote an exam. From 9.35 to 10.20 I had a free lesson, but one group had Slovene and they wrote an exam to. Then we had History. We were talking about 2.world war in Europe. After history we had Maths and we were talking about similar triangles. Then we had P.E. and we were dancing in pairs. After P.E. we went to chemistry. We were just talking. When the bell rang we were happy because we went home. Katja, 9.a

Today was a realy stressful day, because we had a test. We were writing Slovene. It was a hard test. Anyway at English, teacher told us 15 sentenses in Slovene and then we had to translate them to English. All the santances were in 1st Conditional. Some were realy hard and some were easy. Then we had to do some exercises too. Then we had History and we learned about 2nd World War. It was realy fun. Than we had Math and PE, and then Chemestry. At PE we were dancing. And it was so funny, because some were stepping on others foot, because we were dancing in pairs. Lea, 9.a

On Friday, December 13th we first had our Music class, where we were repeating the things that we learnt before, because we are writing a test next Friday. After music class we had Sport, we were playing volleyball. After that we had English and our teacher was celebrating her birthday so we prepared a little suprise. On the blackoard we wrote happy birthday and when she came in we started to sing. She was very happy she also gave us candies.After that we began with English lesson. Teacher gave us some papers on which we had to write sentences with conditional clauses. If it was saying: If it rains, we will stay home. We had to continue with: If we stay at home, we will be sad...It was verry funny when we read the sentences because there were many sentences which were wrong.But after that the bell rang and we had to finish. After English we had Geography and we were all scared, because we thought she will give us some questions that will be graded. We were all happy because the weekend was almost there.

Today the 9th grade had a realy easy day. First we had English. We just took new unit. And the first exercise was Trendy Wendy. It was a story about two girls that wanted to be like Wendy. And almost everything they said was if...So we learned about 1st conditional. We had lots of fun. Then we did other exercises. And then we played a little game. And if went like this. First someone said If I study hard, I will be good at school, and the other one continued. And so on. We all learned a lot, and had a fun on today's English lesson. Lea, 9.a

Today we had two English lessons.when the teacher came into the classroom she told us that she was goin to mark our knowledge today. We were all scared and nervous. Our group was a little relived because she only marked the third group. But at the end of the lesson she promised us that she is going to mark us too the next lesson. We had a lesson of Maths beetwen the both English lessons. We were nervously repeating the subject while the teacher was marking our kowledge.then the bell rang and we had to go upstairs to get to the English classroom.the break was 10 minutes long. But it passed so quickly as it would be only 2 minutes long.the teacher came into the classroom and told us what we have to do in our workbooks and then she started marking ourknowledge. She tested some of the pupils on thei knowledge of the enses and the others on the knowledgeof irregular verbs. On the third of December we had St. Nicholas day and every year in school we have Nicholas's fair. Children were in groups making different stufs. In the afternoon we were selling those stuff. The money went to families which haven't got enough money to pay everything for school. A few days before fair we had to write on the paper in which group we wanted to be. There were many workgroups some children were making new years's greeting cards, some were making candles, some were making wreats, some were making bird houses, some were baking muffins. In my group we were baking different pastries. We were having a lot of fun when we were baking it was awsome. Then we had to give prices to pastries and muffins. In the afternoon at 5o'clock Nicholas's fair started. People were buying our pastries, but we lower our prices in the end of the day. We realy had a lot of fun and we sold many things. This fair is every year in the same time. That day is always magical. Everything is in holiday-christmas style. The years before this Nicholas also came but this year he didn't had time. Al through it was the best fair ever. I loved it!

At 9:30 we started with workshops for St. Nicholas. In the group we were only girls. Our teacher were mrs. Oroz and mrs. Zaplotnik. Some girls were working with mrs. Oroz's father. They were making cakes, namely peaches, bombs, ice rolls and coconut slices. Other girls were making baskets where we put the pastry. Later, we were selling our products in a market along with mrs. Zaplotnik, her daughter and her husband. We filled baskets with cupcakes. When we finished, we all took it to the Cabinet of mrs. Zaplotnik. After that we went to see a little of how others are doing they had very nice products. At 12 o'clock, we went to lunch. After lunch we had gym where we put carpets and tables for St. Nicholas Fair. We went home after we finished at the gym. In the gym we came around 16:40, we brought all the items on the table. The fair opened at 17.00 but finished at 18.30. We sold all the baskets with cookies, and we earned about 160 €.

Today we had a special day at school. Like every year we had St. Nicholas workshop and we were all very excited about that. Maybe it was because we didn’t have school, what was also fantastic, but mostly we were excited, because we love to make hand-made stuff and we can create things by ourselves. So, our day started at half past eight, when we came to school. We went to our class rooms and there we started with our work. I was in group with many girls and we were making candles. It was very interesting and we were very creative. When we didn’t have ideas we listened to music and we quickly got one. We made lots of candles and we were very proud. After that we cleaned up the room and then we went home. At five o’clock we came back to school and at that time we had Nicholas Fair and our parents and friends came to buy our hand-made things. They were also very proud and happy that we had a great day. Anamarija 9.b

A Day at a School

Hello. I am going to talk about school day of 9th grade B class. We started at 9:15, but some of the students started school at 7:40 because they had German class. Actually not a lot of students go there just because they don't like it anymore. Some of us learned German language for 2years. And some of students learned it for 1 year or 3 years. When some of us came to school at 9:15 we first had our first meal. We had hamburgers and tea. I like hamburgers. After that some of us had English and some of us had Slovene. At Slovene we were talking about permanent phrase. Our teacher gave us a lot of homework we had to do 11 pages until Wednesday, we of chourse didn't like that. After Slovene we had Maths. We were talking about "algeberske enačbe". Then some of us had English and some of us had Slovene. I had English, we all chose dates for our blogs. Then we had History. There we weretalking about the first and the second world war. It is very complicated. But I like it because I found out a lot of new things about many countries and bad leaders. After history we should have chemistry but our teacher is sick so we finished. Some of students haven't finished school. But me and some of others had volleybal. I love volleyball. VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION Yesterday there was a volleyball competition in our school. It takes place every year in our school and we are very proud on this. So last Tuesday there was a competition for girls and our school also had one team of girls, which was playing for us. They were good, but sadly they didn’t move further. Yesterday boys had competition and they were also very good. They won all matches that they played. I also made an interview with their coach Rok K.: Did you expect this success? Of course, I have always believed in them. Which game was the hardest? I think that game against Preska was the hardest, because they were also very good, but at that time I had class so I couldn’t watch, sadly. Were they playing as you wished? Yes I am sure, that they did. As I said before I wasn’t watching but I am sure, that they played as we were planning. What will be next sports trainings like? They will be hardest than in past, but also not too hard. Are you proud on your team? Of course. Congratulations to all players!

We had to came in school at 8.50 am. First we went to the bowling area with bus at 9 am. The teacher that were with us were : Mrs. Oroz, Mrs. Toporš, Mrs Kržišnik and Mr. Flajnik. When we came to the bowling we went to the groups of four. I was in group with three of my school friends. Then we had to borrow special shoes for bowling. Our group was group 20. We were playing bowling for 1 hour and half. When we stopped playing we went to BTC-City for about 1 hour we could go wherever we could go. At 12.20 pm we went to Atlantis where we waited for the other students and then went back to Medvode where we had lunch and then we could go home. Tara, 9.a

We had English at 9:35. It was our first lesson and our first day at shool after holidays. We had holidays for nine days. We had a lot of free time and we came to school again very happy and rested. First our teacher came into the class. We were talking about our holidays. Where did we spend our holidays and how it was. After that we were talking about America. We checked our homework. We also looked at some interesting things about our country Slovenia, and we get some homework. Than we were talking about our typical day and we also did some exercises together. Than someone had to imagine that he is a famous singer or a film star and he had to describe his typical day. It was very funny and we were laughing all the time. Then we were working in pairs. We were talking about things that we do. We made some exercises and we also asked each other some questions. It was a very funny lesson, but we got a lot of homework. Eva, 9. class

Today is my turn to write a blog. Firts when a teacher walked in to the class room we all stud up and said hi. Then the teacher remined us that she will begin to assess our knowlage. Than she said that we will write a test on the 26th of November, so we need to start studying. Then I had to write what it means to fall through. I did a good job and the teacher gave me a bonus grade. While I was doing my job, other pupils had to do some exurcises in pairs in books. Then when I was done, I joined them. Then when we all were done, the teacher gave us some homework and than the bell rang. Today's class was realy fun and not so complicated. Lea, 9.a

Ljubljana marathon Today me and a few of my friends went to the Ljubljana marathon. At eleven o” clock we drove to Ljubljana by bus. The bus was full and the teacher was proud that so many students were going to Ljubljana and that we were not at home watching TV or playing computer games. So, when we came there we saw a big crowd of people. They were all going to marathon. It was good, because I thought: »In this crowd have to be someone who will be worse than me. “And we could find many new friends. At half one, the first group of girls from the first class had a start. I had a start three hours after the first class, at half four. This year there were not many girls from 9th class. When we started running, at first, we were running in a big group, but then some girls were better and they ran faster. A lot of people were looking at us and they were also cheering for us. In the finish we got a flask of water and a medal. It was a very interesting day and I won’t forget it.

October, 2013 TUESDAY Hello today I'm going to talk about how the day was in 9th grade class B. Some of us started at 8:30 because we had school activity with mr. Jenko. We were all very noisy and because of that he wasn't in a good mood. We were in a computer room and all of us turned the computers on even though he didn't say we can. Then we answered on some questions on computers. We were all quieter and he was happier. After that class we had Slovene and English. We have groups so we are separated from others. At Slovene we were making a poster about Primož Trubar. We were in a group and the teacher said that we weren't good. Our group work isn't good at all just some people were good. After Slovene and English we had Math in our group we were doing some exercise from our books. The teacher also gave us homework. Today we also had English. At English we first had to read about the Present Perfect tense. Then the teacher gave us some pictures and some tickets that were connected to the Present Perfect tense. On the pictures there was Dumbo the elephant and his friend mouse. We had to organize the pictures to groups and the groups were: EXPERIENCES, LONG-TIME ACTIVITIES, COMPLETED ACTIONS and UNFINISHED ACTIVITIES. We all tried to organize them. And on the back of the pictures we had to write what the mouse and Dumbo were doing in that picture. If we didn't finish that we had to do it at home. And the last subject on our timetable was Physics, where we are talking about acceleration. I think nobody in our class actually likes Physics. And when the bell rang at 12:55 we were all very happy because it was the end of our class. That is all. TJAŠA

Today's english class was very interasting. First we had to finish the work that we didn't do yesterday, and that we had to solve the quiz about Native Americans. We learned a lot today about Native Americans and english grammar. At the end we had to count the quiz's points. And our team won. Two teams scored 10 points and our team scored 15. September, 2013 TUESDAY

On this blog I'm going to talk about school day of 9th grade B class. We started at 9:15 we had our first meal and then we went to our classrooms. At 9:35 one group had Slovene and two groups had English. At Slovene, English and Math we have groups and we are mixed with our schoolmates from other class. I had Slovene and we were talking about some stories that our grandparents told us. Some of us told the story to the whole class and some of us didn't. Mine was talking about how the teacher forgot that she locked my grandpa and some of his friends, they had to climb through the window from second floor. After we told the stories, teacher asked us if someone wants to join Cankar's competition. After Slovene we all had Math where we talked about Algebra expressions, many of the students had no clue and didn't understand the expressions at all. Then at 11:20 we had English where we had fun we were writing some proverbs. Every student had to choose their own proverb and draw some pictures next to them that were related to them. After English we had physics we were repeating some things from last year that we totally forgot during the vacation. And that was the end of the day! We finaly went to the dining room and we ate our lunch! We were all very hungry! Tjaša 9. B

PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT WE WERE “PLAYING TRUANT”! Today Sept 9, 2013

Because this was the first time that we ended this early. So when it was the end of school, which by the way seemed longer than usually, I and four more of my friends went home, of course. What did you think? That we would stay at school longer, no thanks, we won’t miss that chance to go home so early. So, like I said the five of us went down to music school and then down the stairs near music school, but the most coolest thing was, that every driver, that drove by looked at us with that eyes: “ha-ha, they are “playing truant”! I would like to be teenager again that I could do that do that too…” or some looked like: “no,no,no, children today don’t even know why school exists. I have never done this when I was young. “And they drove past us. This was because we were walking away of school in a little group and it really seamed, that we were “playing truant” It was really funny, to watch all the "b" class ended school at 10:20. We were all very happy, and drivers will newer know the whole story. Anamarija 9.b
